We often get the questions, “When is the best time to sell, and when is the best time to buy?”
The answer to that will vary based on your individual situation, but the short answer to when to sell and when to buy is NOW! Spring has always been the most popular season for buyers and sellers. Schools are on spring break, bringing families and buyers to the Lowcountry. Also, the weather is incredible, and Easter is around the corner. The azaleas are blooming, and people just feel good!
In addition to the above reasons why your timing is perfect to buy or sell, we are now seeing fence sitters who were waiting for the election results jumping off the fence and buying.
Home prices are projected to increase 4.1% in 2025. Many of our clients feel now is a good time to get ahead of the market and pick up a home while there is still a good selection of inventory. We call it the low-hanging fruit before it gets picked over. Historically, the next two months have been two of the best busiest months of the year to buy or sell.
