Hilton Head Oyster Festival 2022

All you can eat oysters AND live music? Yes, please. Take a trip to Hilton Head for the 2022 Hilton Head Oyster Festival, and you’ll also be treated to local favorites including Lowcountry boil, pulled pork, seafood chowder, and chili. Hilton Head’s annual oyster festival is not an event to miss for the sea-foodie! This event has limited availability (and is very likely to sell out), so be sure to purchase tickets in advance.

Bluffton Tree Lighting Ceremony

Martin Family Park and DuBois Park (on Boundary Street in the Historic District of Bluffton)
Bluffton’s tree lighting ceremony and Christmas parade have become the official way to kick off the holiday season in the Lowcountry. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, December 2 at Martin Family Park, followed by Santa’s Workshop at DuBois Park’s Pavilion. Grab your kids and some picnic blankets or chairs to enjoy The Grinch at 6:30 p.m.
Bluffton Annual Christmas Parade

If you’ve spent much time in Bluffton during the Holiday season, chances are you’ve heard of or attended the annual Bluffton Christmas Parade. This iconic event is a local favorite for good reason. Bring your family and friends out to the Bluffton Historic District on Saturday, December 3 at 10 am to take in the festivities.
Movie Nights at Town Parks

Bounce house and games begin at 5pm
The Town of Bluffton is hosting a final movie night of their 2022 series to bring Bluffton families together via Town Parks for the Holidays. Get to the park early to enjoy a bounce house and games beginning at 5 pm, and laugh together with your family as you enjoy Elf at Martin Family Park. Bring your own picnic blankets or chairs for maximum comfort.
America’s Boating Club Hilton Head’s 1st Annual “Deck the Hulls” Christmas Boat Parade

Does the idea of enjoying Christmas lights on the water float your boat? For the first time ever this year, America’s Boating Club in Hilton Head is hosting a boat parade! This family fun, holiday event is free and open to the public. A wide array of boats decked out in their holiday best will take a parade route that meanders along the Skull Creek Corridor, and prizes will be awarded to captains who “deck the hulls” with the most spirit.
Beaufort Homes for the Holidays 2022
November 19-20, 2022 starting at 11 am
You already know about historic downtown Beaufort’s Christmas boat parade – but have you heard about the “Homes for the Holidays” event? Find all the inspiration you need to deck your own halls while enjoying a walking tour of professionally decorated homes located just across from the Intracoastal Waterway. This year, enjoy perusing seven unique homes of all different architectural styles, plus a charming “Cookie Cottage.” All proceeds from the event will benefit Saint Peter’s Catholic School.
Hampton Hall Holiday Home Tour

If you miss the Beaufort Homes holiday tour, get ready “fore” some spirit and head to the Hampton Hall Club in Bluffton for Christmas home festivities! Your ticket price covers admission to the tour, refreshments, door prizes, and raffle opportunities. In true Hampton Hall style, ticket holders will travel in their own golf carts to each of the featured homes.
The Salty Dog’s Christmas Village
South Beach Marina, Hilton Head Island
If you haven’t picked up a t-shirt from the Salty Dog, have you really been to the Lowcountry? The home of Hilton Head’s most ubiquitous souvenir is going all out for the 2022 holiday season every evening from Friday, November 25 until January 1. Thousands of lights and decorations are promised, making this the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit with family members young and old. Highlights of the Christmas Village include fireside adult Happy Hour specials daily from 4-6 pm, a South Beach visit from Santa every Saturday at 3 pm, Christmas trains at the Land’s End Christmas Tavern, and a South Beach Nativity Scene near Jake’s Cargo. Afterwards, guests will be treated to free hot cocoa, s’mores, and other Christmas treats by the fireside.
Official Lighting of the South Beach Giant Tree

Go green simply by catching the lighting of Hilton Head Island’s “greenest” Christmas tree – an iconic tree located on the South Beach Marina that’s festooned with 100% solar and wind powered lights! Live music and a fireside Happy Hour will both begin at 4 pm, with the official lighting of the tree happening at dusk (close to 5 pm).
