It’s that time of year again, when we get to celebrate the people we love in the state we love!

Most of 2020 was spent indoors, so trying to plan a romantic Valentine’s Day out in 2021 may be the last thing on your mind. However, you’ll be happy to know that there are still plenty of activities going on in Bluffton and Hilton Head that strictly adhere to COVID-19 health and safety guidelines to keep you and your loved ones safe while celebrating.

If this will be your first time out with your beloved in a while, and you’re not sure where to begin, don’t worry. We’ve done the research for you and compiled a list of Valentine’s Day events in the Lowcountry that you won’t want to miss!

Spend the evening with your gal pals at this year’s Galentine’s Soiree, hosted by Taste of Grace at Hewitt Oaks in Bluffton. There will be wine, snacks, games, a photo booth, and more—perfect for pampering you and your girlfriends.

Valentine’s Scavenger Heart Hunt & Breakfast – February 13 from 8 to 11 am

So far, we’ve covered Valentine’s Day events for couples and gal pals, but what about the kiddos? Luckily, The Salty Dog in Hilton Head has something for them, too. The popular cafe will be hosting a Valentine’s Scavenger Heart Hunt and Breakfast, perfect for families with children 12 and under.

The kids will need to use a series of clues to track down the hidden hearts scattered across South Beach Marina. The more hearts they collect, the more treats and Salty Dog gear they can win!

Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce Foodie February

If food is your love language, you’re in luck. The Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce has deemed this month “Foodie February,” highlighting some of the best flavors the Lowcountry has to offer. Dine at one of 250 participating restaurants!

Not sure where to start with that long list? Try one of these top-rated restaurants—perfect for a lovely evening for two:

You also can’t go wrong with a restaurant that comes with a beautiful view! If you’re looking for something a little more family-friendly, we recommend Skull Creek Boat House.

Old Town Bluffton Inn Valentine’s Day Packages
